1. Go to the Installation Page (requires login) and click the Start Installation button.  ‍
2. The following page will open. Click the Install button. This will initiate the setup.exe dowload.

3. Different browsers have different security protocols.  Follow the prompts to successfully download the setup.exe file.  Once downloaded, click on the setup.exe file to run it.

4. The following screen will appear. Click the More info link.  FasLaps is safe.

NOTE: When running FasLaps, it checks for updates automatically.  If an update is detected to be installed, this screen may appear again.  Follow the instructions in Steps 3 and 4 to allow the update to install.

5. The page will update to include a Run anyway button. Click the Run anyway button.

6. The following screen will prompt you to accept the installation of the prerequisites.  Click the Accept button.

7. IMPORTANT:  Windows will prompt twice for the Microsoft installer to complete the installation of the Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server 2014. Click the Yes button both times.

8. The following screen will appear. Click the Install button. FasLaps is safe.

9. The following screen will appear.  Once the progress completes, FasLaps will be installed.

When you run FasLaps, you may see the "Windows Defender Firewall has blocked some features of this application" prompt. Be sure to select Private networks, such as my home or work network and click the Allow access button if you see this prompt, or FasLaps features may be blocked.
